BLACK & WHITE FINE ART PHOTOGRAPHY ...continued

TRUXTON MO 1993

In 1961 on a nightly basis, I frequented a honky tonk called Biffs on South 11th Street in Center City Philadelphia. Up behind the bar Larry and Neal performed with their renditions of popular country and western music. Mostly songs about some guy always in the barroom drinking because his girl left him because he was always in the barroom drinking! I could relate. Every night I got drunk and every night about ten I'd request "Wildwood Flower" - until the place was sick of me and "Wildwood Flower".
