BLACK & WHITE FINE ART PHOTOGRAPHY ...continued

The unclothed body is autobiography.
-Billy Collins, American Poet Laureate

"The broad spectrum of people photography...offers the photographer, unlike any other field, an almost limitless creative space. The fascinating aspect is the collaboration with human beings who are not just 'subject' but totally committed to give their best in order to realize the photographer's idea. They participate as much in the success of the picture as the photographer - photographers tend to forget that."

To a man, the 'good type' of female nudes are about the truth, delicacy, and mystery of feminine beauty. They are not meant to arouse! They are about the 'wonderment' of man since he was a small boy. The way G_d made him! The nude does not unveil the mystique; it does just the opposite. Then going on to paraphrase my friend ...."there are nudes, male and female, in artistic poses that show the body as beautiful objects. There are also those which show the body as 'person'--"Here I Am, unmasked, bold, and proud!" These are usually what I strive for.
